The company, Phil's Confection was created on 1st January 1989 and has since been managed and represented by Messrs Philippe Cohen and Philippe Cambier. Initially we were solely concerned with the manufacturing of sport and leisure articles, which were mainly intended for advertisement printing and for sponsoring in various branches of the industry.
After a few years we complimented our production by directing our company towards more technical and typified production as well as towards subcontracting work (make-to-order work). This idea allowed us to resist the invasion of foreign products and we were able to work with people whose professional environment was not necessarily a sports one.
We then had to develop and adapt other work methods, which with time and thanks to the professionalism of our company opened up new possibilities to us in the multiple horizons of textile manufacturing. Moreover, our turnover has not ceased to increase and in addition to all the products which we make, we have also become specialists in the manufacturing of flags and banners. We are also principal suppliers to national one sport clubs such as RAEC Mons (football), UMH Union Mons Hainaut (basketball), and to international cycle races.
